Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins The real Roscoe Jenkins must be turning over in his grave.

In 1911, well-respected Roscoe Conklin Jenkins founded the Roscoe Jenkins funeral home in Coweta County, Georgia. Then, in 2008, along comes a positively dreadful film called Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, now on DVD.

The true-life Jenkins family of Newnan, Georgia can surely take comfort in the fact that this movie has nothing to do with their distinguished ancestor, but they must be a little embarrassed that the lead character shares his name.

Martin Lawrence plays the host of a Jerry Springer-style TV show who returns home for his parents' 50th anniversary. Upon arrival at the family's homestead with his new "trophy fiancé", Lawrence's character is treated to the same physical and psychological abuse he endured as a child at the hands of his frankly, despicable relatives, who refuse to acknowledge his new found fame.

Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins is not funny, it is not fun to watch, and it is a complete waste of time.
