The Forbidden Kingdom puts them face to face early in the action and buttresses their work with some of the most artistically choreographed fight scenes I've ever seen.
Add in a decent script, majestic scenery, Jackie Chan's trademark humor, and a delightful dual-role performance by Jet Li, and The Forbidden Kingdombecomes a solid choice for fans who love this genre of film and its stars.
Yes, the story is a little sappy, but just wait until you see Jet Li as The Monkey King. It's worth the price of admission.
