Somewhere along the way, what my mother used to call a Peeping Tom, became more colorfully known as a voyeur, but whatever you call him, the lead character in Disturbia is spying on his neighbors.

You can’t blame him. One neighbor is a hot teenage girl who exercises in her skivvies and seems to debut a new swimsuit each day, and the other might be a serial killer.

Young Kale has been put under house arrest following a slew of bad behavior stemming from the accidental death of his father.

While confined to quarters, he focuses his binoculars and camera on the neighbors and that’s when things get interesting.

Although comparisons to Hitchcock’s Rear Window are inevitable, Disturbia falls a little short of that achievement, but still manages to give us a lot of bang for the buck. If it's thrills and chills you want, Disturbia delivers.
